Pricing for full-time providers:

We calculate total lines using a 65-character line count, which is the industry standard.  We charge 9-12 cents per character line, depending on the complexity of the dictation.  Line counts are calculated with a certified line counting program, and detailed report will be provided twice a month.

Our billing is done on the first and fifteenth of each month, with payment expected two weeks after receipt of invoice.

There is no cost for startup, and there are no hidden costs.  You will be billed for a 65-character line count at the agreed upon rate only.  

Changing transcription services can cause upheaval in the office.  Rest assured that ELM Transcription employees are very experienced at taking on new providers at a moments notice without delays affecting the office staff or patient care.  If you have multiple providers, together we can schedule a transition period to make the switch as smooth as possible, with ELM taking on a few new providers each week until the transition is complete.  We offer 25% off your first month when you sign a contract with ELM Transcription.

Pricing for overflow/vacation coverage:

Because there initially is more work involved with taking on a new provider; learning the layout of the reports and the dictator's style and preferences, the cost for this service is slightly more than would be a regular full-time provider, at 10-13 cents per 65-character line, depending on the complexity of the dictation.
